2011 ToU Stage 4 (Photos)

Stage 4 of the Tour of Utah was a circuit race in downtown Salt Lake City. It was a hurt-fest. I watched in the shade, about 3/4 of the way up the nasty grunt climb, about 500 meters from the finish line. The riders had to climb that hill 11 times.

The stage winner was Javier Acevedo from team Gubernacion. Gubernacion was easily the most aggressive team in the tour scoring 3 stage wins in the 6 stage tour. The photo below is Acevedo’s winning attack on the final climb.
