Gratitude
It’s too easy to get wrapped up into the drama of politics, scandal, and controversy.
And while entertaining at first, the sharp partisanship and narrow-minded nature of having-to-always-be-right can cloud the mind, and dull the brain.
We are meant for more than bitter bickering.
We need not concern ourselves anymore with petty politics, blow-hard punditry, or top-down command.
Too many people are founding their lives on the validation of others: people, institutions, parties. Anyone other than themselves.
Don’t be that person.
Be you.
Everyday.
Be thankful for who you are, and what you can be.
Ignore the elite. They despise us.
Embrace the ordinary, and turn it into the extraordinary.
Ride your bike. Explore. Ascend.
And be grateful.
