Is he a narcissist? As an athlete at the top of his game, naturally he is. He definitely has some warts and isn't warm and fuzzy with everyone. Maybe he is even a jerk. Maybe he even has some skeletons in his closet about past drug practices--Consider the era in which he rode though. I don't really have the energy to care much about who is taking what anyways. At the end of the day, he has inspired hope for millions of people affected by cancer, and has established a very vocal and prominent non-profit to fight cancer. He has tremendous athletic talents (although a bit long in the tooth now) and it is fun to see people who have those talents use them. Maybe he used an F-word during a bike race that offended someone somewhere. He's human. No one has to like him. But he's done a lot of good for cycling (not just in the US) and cancer.
