Awesome post.

I would, however, recommend that you scratch Scout Camp from your list of to-do rides. It was a really fun little loop back in the mid 90s, but then the developers came to Steam Engine Meadow, and the trail was largely lost.

My recommendation is to start at the peak, head down Bunker, grab a refreshing drink at the General Store, then climb back up (a bit of road, then Marathon trail, ISTR) to the peak, and descend Dark Hollow. Have a shuttle pick you up in the Canyon, and head up to Pizano’s (or pedal down to the Pizza Barn) for refueling.

The suspense is killing me!! Part 2? Part 3?. I’m having flashbacks of the night my wife took me to the first Lord Of The Rings movie. I didn’t realize I’d have to wait 2 years to see the ending and left the theatre completely depressed.
