Nostalgia (Video)

Feeling inspired by Mike Curiak, I rummaged into my own digital archives to see what I could come up with. I was surprised at how many photos there were that I had simply forgotten about. The experiences and the memories that they sparked were pleasantly unexpected. It was also a sort of reminder at just how important a role the outdoors play in my life. My mental and physical well being seem intimately tied to the landscape. It could be argued that the mountains that anchor the American West, are the anchors of who I am. I do not find it unusual that I think with clarity and alacrity while in the mountains. Ideas, solutions, thoughts, insight, all flow easily in the realm of timber and aspen and altitude.

    What was that stirring soundtrack?

It is the song called “Let ‘er Buck” from the Hidalgo soundtrack

Aaron Smith shared this with me. Very impressive. You have a very good eye for color and simplicity. Keep riding.

Awesome. I think I remember quite a few of those. Makes me want to take another stab at last year’s Wasatch Classic route.

Breathtaking! Yet another reminder of why I love living where I do. Thanks for creating this photo and video montage. Well done. Side note, I love the new look!
