Will You Be Baptized?
I think it’s time for you to start attending church services.
The Church of the Blue Dome* meets everyday, at various times and locations. Membership requires a stout heart and an unbridled spirit. In fact, I think many of you are already worshiping at the altar of the Blue Dome, so formal membership would seem appropriate.
The Blue Dome is a project I have been toiling on behind the scenes for a while now. It started last year with the Backcountry Times, which I scrapped (for various reasons) in favor of the updated format that The Blue Dome now features. Which means less manual maintenance, and much, much more flexibility.
What is the Blue Dome?
Simple: It’s a one-stop website featuring the very best of outdoor blogs. All of which fall into three categories: bike, hike, ski. Certainly there is some overlap, and I try to manage that based on the primary season and the individual feeds. But thanks to some nifty WordPress plug-ins, much of that work is done automatically.
I am still in the process of adding links, feeds, and other features to the site. Want your blog to be linked/syndicated? No problem. Drop a comment here, or send me an email: adam at epicriding dot com with a link to your blog.
Feel free to add other feedback or suggestions on how to improve the site as well.
I’ve created the above banner that you can add to the sidebars of your sites if you wish. (link them to http://thebluedome.com)
*The Church of the Blue Dome is a name I first heard from Brad Keyes. He claims to have heard it some time ago on a river trip. I think it might be the best description of the outdoors I have heard yet.
