Uinta Bound

I am heading for the Uinta mountains for a few days.  I am excited for the slow-paced days of backpacking.  They will be a nice diversion from the speed and focus and intensity of mountain biking – and racing.  In fact, I’d say that the trip would be the ideal reprise from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and routine.  That is, I’d say that if it were not for the fact that I will be with 16 and 17 year old scouts.  However, we will have a great time.  It is nearly impossible not to enjoy oneself in the High Uintas.

Even with boy scouts.

Right?
