Brad is off the front.  It hurts.
Grab a wheel!  I can’t.

You couldn’t grab a wheel, but I couldn’t grab yours either. Nice work. That was a fast pace this morning. Wish I’d have timed it, because I know I’ve never climbed it faster.

The part you missed was after the hurt inflicted by AF, riding back up Suncrest, Rick and Brad decided to sprint for the top. I didn’t even try.

Ouch. We coasted easily all the way back home. My watch showed 61 minutes from our starting point at the mouth.

I thought about trying to keep Brad’s wheel for as long as I could but after 3 seconds, I decided I wanted to keep my breakfast instead.

You know at the top when I said I kept expected you to pass me? What I meant is that I was hoping you’d pass me. I had it all planned out: “yeah, I thought I’d just sit up and ride easy with you to the top…”

Rick – please bring your 10 pound bag again next time.
