I Love Utah
Saturday I was racing my single speed in the dirt and red rocks of Saint George.
This morning I was skiing the fresh powder of the Wasatch on my first backcountry tour.
It’s not hard to remember why I love Utah.

March 10, 2009Good to have you out this morning. You picked a good day to kick off your backcountry career. That was one of my top 3 deepest days all year, and I haven’t missed very many deep days.

March 10, 2009My repeated falls and subsequent flails in the snow were a constant reminder how deep it was out there.
It was a lot of fun though!

March 11, 2009Viva la Utah. I remember riding the lift at Sundance one year getting some spring riding in and watching boats on the Deer Creek. Don’t know if anyone was water skiing, but still seemed cool to me!
Peace!
P.S. Careful on those commutes! ;o)
