Oh Snow!

Written by  //  December 17, 2006  //  Uncategorized  //  Comments Off

Friday I managed a road ride with Keith and Chris. The rail trail in Provo Canyon was clear until just above Bridal Veil Falls. After that, well it was a little sketchy on the thin tires.

Saturday the snow started to fall. By this morning we were socked in by the first real winter storm we have seen here in the valleys. I had to shoevel my driveway twice this morning.

It’s a good thing Jason keeps the Chamois mixes coming…they are all i got to get me through the basement trainer “rides”.

Ah ha! You’re the other person that downloads them from Jason. He said there was two of us… :-)

We’re getting our first snow of the season now in Flagstaff. It’s supposed to be 4 – 8 inches before tomorrow morning. Until now, I’ve been able to get on the bike every few days with no problems and was in shorts and a short-sleeved jersey one day last week. Looks like I’m going to have to break out the trainer now…
