Wind Tunnel Ride

Much of todays 3 hour, 41 mile ride felt like a wind tunnel. Or at least how I imagine a wind tunnel would feel. We fought tough headwinds most of the ride, but we were rewarded with a nice tailwind on the way back. We rode up and over Traverse Mountain. It felt really good to be back in the saddle for a serious ride. Despite my week of traveling, I felt really good, better than I thought I would actually. The weather looked to be freezing cold, but it warmed up enough that other than the wind, the conditions were pretty good for a November ride.

Up and up Traverse Mountain

We waited for like 10 minutes for the team car….finally Tim just fixed his own flat
